Constipation and food habit


Constipation may be defined as decrease in frequency of stools. It’s a common problem among the individuals who has lack of fibrous food and water intake. Abdominal pain, distention, and fecal impaction are common results of constipation. Inadequate allotment of time for defecation also produces constipation. Different medications sometimes act as contributory factors for constipation. Constipation can be improved by adding dietary fiber in daily food menu. Excess water intake also improves the situation. Withdrawal of constipation causing medicine with the consultation of a physician shows the improvement of the situation.
